Awareness from a News Anchor’s Climb

As I watched Ann Curry report from Mount Kilimanjaro on the Today show this morning a lot of things came to my mind. My first thought was “wow, what a cool job!” but more importantly I thought about the purpose of her journey and the teamwork it took to accomplish it. It is part of the “Ends of the Earth” project where the news anchors of the morning show where sent to different parts of the Earth to report on the effect of global warming.

Ann Curry and her team … Continue Reading

Update: BPA Free Sport Bottles

In September we posted a blog about BPA Free Sports Bottles. There was some concern after the Journal of the American Medical Association concluded from a recent study that BPA may be harmful to adults with high levels of the chemical in their blood. However, the FDA made a statement that products on the market contain low levels of the chemical and do not pose health risks.
A recent update on the BPA safety was sent to the promotional products industry last week. Once again the FDA stated exposure levels are low and will not affect the health of adults or … Continue Reading

Promotional Pens – we love’em!

It’s a fact; people love receiving free promotional pens.

Most people keep a large collection in their desk, what I like to call a “just in case” pile, of their favorite pens, highlighters, pencils and markers. I personally make sure I have one in my car, in my handbag, in the kitchen, bedroom, and at my desk because it can be so frustrating if you need one and can’t find one. The need for writing instruments will never die because writing something down is still the fastest, easiest, and most reliable way to record information.

Pens that are stylish, write well, and … Continue Reading

I Voted and I Post-It!

I voted today and I’m proud of it. I hope you did too! But I didn’t get my “I Voted” sticker! It’s very disappointing because I was looking forward to walking out of the polling place sporting my sticker on my jacket.

So when I came back to my desk I saw my Post-It Note Dispenser and I came up with a way to make my own. It took a couple of tries but luckily the dispenser holds a pack of 50 3 x 3 post-it notes.

I admit this is the most unique way I have ever used a post-it but … Continue Reading
