Candy Company Trade Show Advertisement

Hanging from the doors of hotel guests attending the All Candy Expo in Chicago were these creative door hangers. One of the sponsors for the trade show was the candy company, Just Born. They advertised their products on these beautiful “do not disturb” signs with the catchy tag line “Don’t make a peep.”

I wonder if guest found any candy gifts in their rooms.

Boomerangs for Social Awareness

These printed boomerangs are examples from a print advertising campaign launched by Greenpeace. Created by the same ad company that created the whimsical typography in a Nike advertisement we talked about in a previous post, DDB Paris, France.

Each has a different statement like “I could take the subway to work but my car is so much more comfortable.” or “I prefer to leave my computer on standby mode. Turning it on and off is too bad for it.” “Genetically modified foods are great. We can eat any kind of fruit all year long.” and “The environment is OK. The government … Continue Reading

Hotel Promotion Goes Green Bananas

This is an ad campaign for a Swedish hotel, Scandic. The message is “Stay at a Scandic hotel this summer and book before the prices ripen.” The hotel chain is encouraging guest to book rooms early to receive discounted rates. Prices will ripen upon the arrival of summer.

A unique and clever concept, however, they could have imprinted a Banana Stress Ball with a slightly different expression. Like, “prices that never ripen.”
